Prof. Antoine Van Oijen

Antoine has led research labs at Harvard, Groningen University and the University of Wollongong. Supported by ARC Laureate and NHMRC Leadership Fellowships, Antoine has led the establishment of Molecular Horizons, an interdisciplinary life sciences institute at the University of Wollongong.

Research Interests

Antoine is interested in developing and using fluorescence imaging tools to study molecular mechanisms at the level of individual molecules. He is particularly interested in the molecular processes underlying DNA replication and the development of tools that support commercial development of molecular diagnostics.
