David is an NHMRC EL2 Investigator Fellow and co-leader of the Analytical & Structural Neuropharmacology group in the DDB Theme at MIPS. He earned his PhD in Chemical Biology (2010) from the University of Michigan followed by a post-doc at MIPS. His expertise is in structural biology and molecular pharmacology.
Research Interests
Our research aims to understand how drugs interact with proteins that are of therapeutic importance using structural, chemical, and pharmacological approaches. A better understanding of how drugs bind and modulate protein structure and dynamics will facilitate the discovery and design of future therapeutics.
