Dr. Matt Belousoff

Matt’s PhD was awarded in chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Leone Spiccia (Monash) and Prof. Yitzhak Tor (UCSD) followed by a postdoctoral fellow with Nobel Laureate Prof. Ada Yonath (Weizmann Institute). He received a NHMRC Fellowship to work under Prof. Trevor Lithgow (Monash). He currently is a CCeMMP post-doctoral fellow and takes care of the cryoEM facility at MIPS.

Research Interests

Currently my main research interest is in methodology improvement for cryoEM and spans the whole breadth of sample preparation to data collection strategies to acceleration of the data analysis computational pipeline.
