Dr. Sepideh Valimehr

Sepideh Valimehr is a CCeMMP postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Melbourne node. She received her PhD from the University of Melbourne. In her PhD, she used cryoEM in combination with biophysical techniques to understand the molecular mechanism of AAA+ ATPase p97.

Research Interests

Sepideh is based at Ian Holmes Imaging Centre, Bio21 Molecular Science and Biotechnoloy Institute. Her research includes cryoEM sample preparation optimization and using cryoEM to study macromolecular complexes and membrane proteins.
