Isabella Russell

Isabella is a PhD student at the CCeMMP Monash node in the Sexton/Wootten lab. She completed her BSc and BA at ANU, after which she pursued honours studies with Prof. Michelle Coote, using computational chemistry to examine the potential of electric fields for catalysis.

Research Interests

Isabella’s current work investigates the potential use of engineered constitutive activity in GPCRs as an approach to solve structures of orphan (no known natural ligand) GPCRs. The project is a collaboration with CCeMMP Industry Partner Organisation, AstraZeneca.
