Prof. Chris Langmead

Chris is Deputy Director, and Better Medicines Theme Leader of the Neuromedicines Discovery Centre, a collaborative venture targeting new medicines development for poorly-treated mental health disorders. He co-leads the Molecular & Translational Drug Discovery lab with Greg Stewart.

Research Interests

Drug discovery for psychiatric disorders, including projects studying the role of GPCRs in depression, schizophrenia, cognitive disorders and addiction. The lab is also home to the Servier Discovery Program, which includes neuro-immune projects at different stages of the preclinical drug discovery process.
